Chari Burrell was honored by Fair Grove R-X School District and Heart2Heart Outreach Fair Grove at last week's Annual Powderpuff fundraising event sponsored by FG FBLA/DECA. Chari was presented with a special award for her 14+ years of dedication to feeding the children in need in Fair Grove.
Chari Burrell has handled all of the intricate details of reviewing weekly backpack food for over 25 families, Thanksgiving & Christmas food baskets, Breakfast with Santa, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, School Supplies, Can the Indians, Quilt Raffles, Pig Raffles, Food Pantries, Festival Parking, Powder Puff and much more. Chari has been a tireless force every week.
Chari's award reads: On behalf of the Fair Grove R-X School District and Heart2Heart Outreach Ministries this award is presented to Chari Burrell i n recognition of your many years of service and dedication to feeding the children in need in Fair Grove.
Lisa Bernet with Fair Grove School states, "Chari is a true blessing to our Fair Grove community and she will be missed as she retires from this position. I will be forever grateful for her contributions over the years and will miss the camaraderie that comes with being in the trenches of this kind of volunteer work."
