Dear Parents/Guardians:
The Webster County Health Unit is working with your child’s school to give the seasonal influenza vaccine to children at school. This vaccine will protect against all four strains that are expected to circulate this year. The vaccinations will only be available in the form of injections. NO NASAL MIST WILL BE AVAILABLE THIS SEASON.
We will hold a vaccination clinic at your child’s school on Friday, October 25, 2019. There will be no cost to you for this vaccine.
If you’d like for your child to receive the flu vaccine at school, please register them online at: www.SchoolCares.com . Use Access Code: MO26208. Choose your childs school to begin registration. The deadline for online registration is October 18, 2019.
If needed there there is also be paper copies of the registration form in each building's office with Tiffany, Jill and Rhonda.
If you are unable to register online, you must fill out both sides and sign the registration form. You may get a registration form from the school nurse. Return the completed form to your school nurse by October 18, 2019. If you do not return the form prior to this date, your child will not receive a vaccination that day.
