We're baaaaaaack!! Come on down to the middle school on Thursday, August 15th, for our annual Meet the Teacher event! As the name implies, you can meet all of our AWESOME teachers and also pick up schedules and other pertinent paperwork, pay tech fees, high-five your favorite secretary (oh yeahhh!), check out our sparkling classrooms, and find lockers. This year we'll also be holding a 5th grade orientation specifically aimed at first-time middle school parents at 6pm in the library...we know the transition from the elementary can be a bit daunting and we're here to help with any questions you might have to calm those nerves! As you might imagine, the office is bustling with preparations right now so if you have any questions or need help with registration, please email that favorite secretary of yours, Tina, at cantwellc@fgsmail.org and she'll get you taken care of.
Middle school football practice will start on Monday, August 19th. This is for 7th & 8th grade students. All players must have a valid physical. If your child plans to participate in middle school football, please email Coach Green @ greenm@fgsmail.org to receive more information and a link to the team app.

The end of the year lost and found is overflowing with an assortment of items. Attached are a few pictures of all that is left. Everything will be packed up and either discarded or donated on Tuesday afternoon.
Eighth grade promotion will take place this Wednesday, May 22nd, at 8:30am in the high school gym. Students will depart for their field trip immediatley following the ceremony.

As a reminder, cell phones are only allowed to be used before school, during lunch (except for 5th grade), and after school! Classrooms, hallways, and bathrooms are no-go zones for phones and they will be taken up by staff if students have them out.
